Registers help keep track of transactions by various checkout stations you may have. You can have multiple registers in your locations. By default, each location has one Register. You can edit the Register setting and Add more registers as needed.
Click Add/Edit Registers to access this section. To edit an existing register, access it from drop-down menus on the left side.
- Type in a Register Name that can help you identify it more easily
- Enable Float – use this option if you like to Open an Close the Register with each shift. If this option is enabled, sales cannot be processed if the Register is not opened at the start of the shift. Float Amount refers to the cash amount left in the register at shift
- Enable EMV Device – select this option to process credit-card transactions securely through the system. This option is available in limited areas and requires a merchant application to be filled out. Contact us at [email protected] to learn more.
